it is like listening to a gunshot noise through half an earbud. vax doesn't have context for this (unless he does, they probably do actually, they both do bc there's a music store) but anyways. ]

[ something under his coat wiggles a little more anxiously than before. where the fuck are you. ]
behind percy. there are a pair of inky black and blue raven wings sticking out of his back, but they're tucked close to him as he leans in close, close, close - and pulls the lump that's wiggling under his coat ]
[ yeah he's just howling with laughter immediately, stepping back from him so percy doesn't kill him ]

[ he himself is sporting a pair of big black raven wings, and some feathers on his face and at his temples, and is like clutching his sides he's laughing so hard ]
[ yeah you better step back. step back! as he has a moment to huff it out, he eventually does catch sight of vax's wings, the feathers that are flanking his cheeks. he folds his arms lightly. ]
[ wheeze. he seems very pleased with himself as he wipes a fake tear from his eyes, the feathers behind him ruffling in the wind. someone is back at home in his wings, even if they don't work. ]
Kind of feel like one, since I can't fucking fly. [ my WINGS ] What do you want to do out here, anyway, bunny boy? It's fucking cold.
[ he laughs a bit at that, and maybe his nose accidentally does a little twitch with that as he pushes his glasses up his face as he tries to ignore the stupid name. ]
Explore a bit? Maybe go ice skating? Have a hot drink after? I'd like a rather easy day, wouldn't you?
but, you know, it does sound kind of fun. he grins back, and the feathers behind him give a little shiver, poofing up a bit, reactive! if percy's close enough he might see a snowdrop or two blending into the feathers. ]

he's usually always close enough, so as he sees the feathers poof, he chuckles just a bit and poke at one of the little flowers gently with a finger. ]

[ he will tug vax along to the ice skating pond and find some skates for the both of them!! he will even help lace them up for you since you're like a giant bird/basically howl. ]
part plant surprises him - he turns his head, sees the snowdrop, and then... well, smiles, a little, tugging at the corner of his mouth as he ducks his head. vax plops down on a bench to let percy go ahead and lace up his skates, investigating the bottom of the left one while he works on the right. ]
