his emotions radiate similar, though. vax has never been good at hiding his emotions, and emotion sharing doesn’t make him much different - his affectionate ease comes through as he returns the kiss, making a soft pleased hum when it’s both returned and more touchy, easily leaning into emet’s hand. a good reward after lots of business talk. ]

[those shared emotions help; emet-selch picks up on them easily, and while he certainly won't miss sharing his own feelings-- this is good. it might normally be clear, but feeling it is still different from just reading them in someone.
