week 4, sunday
vax was gone for most of the time after execution, splitting his time between ruby and vin, for the most part - but with the two of them now safely in other people's hands, he's still kind of hard to find.
... however. a check in the simulation room might yield results.

Hey.

[he'd checked, naturally. he can't look in marine, but-- he figured he wouldn't really be there, after everything.]
...you've been with them, I take it.

it's strange, looking up at him, but... maybe vax deserves to feel tall for once.]
If you would prefer I leave you to your thoughts, I shall. It is up to you.

You alright?
no subject
[of course.
emet-selch moves closer, then, as vax shifts. enough for that thread of concern to be noticeable, even if it's more for him than for emet himself.]

[he does reach up, after a minute. lets their hands brush, glancing up to him.]
You may as well, if you wish to come down here.
[obviously he's not going to let him just hit the ground from way up there.]

Seems a good compromise.

and as he hovers, puts them eye to eye-- emet nods, approving.]
Much better. 'Tis a shame you may not keep these elsewhere; they suit you well.
