this is pretty nice, though, and maybe bass realizes it? he's not gonna question too hard. he just leans against riff, nudging him a bit. his anxiety has settled down - he's comfortable, and this is safe, as always.]
riff is just going to let himself go numb instead of, like, bothering to push bass off. he'll also pass over the switch because yeah! trade off! that absolutely makes the most sense and...feeling the anxiety go quiet means that riff's own vibes are a little happier. like he managed to actually help after all.]
