[ it certainly is a lot. especially since it's a rather recent memory...things are okay, now, but seeing that again brings back every emotion ruby had been feeling in that moment. it is bittersweet.
there are tears in her eyes, much like there were back then. and she immediately wonders how yang is fairing right now...they've been separated again.
the shoulder squeeze goes half unnoticed, as she presses forward and just. hugs vax. maybe she still sees yang in front of her or maybe she just really needs the hug...maybe it's a little of both.
her voice is quiet and a little muffled. ]
