after all of that, vax is.. here! he's on the roof, sitting near the edge, fiddling with his phone. there's a mountain dew can sitting right next to him? hm!

but, when he hears footsteps, he glances back, and then lifts his chin in a sup greeting. hey, buzen ]

anyway this is easy. wherever they are, vax just says, out of fucking nowhere ]

vax is sort of leaning on the edge, arms folded, facing outwards. at the question he huffs a little, and tilts his head, resting it into the crook of his own arm. ]

...No. Not anymore. Used to be scared shitless of it, though.

[ actually, because they are in fact in a hot spring, buzen probably saw - there's a dark mark on vax's heart, roughly in the shape of wings. ]

[ vax is.. in the medbay! he's let some of the others go first in terms of healing pod, so he's sort of stuck here, biding his time in a bed. hood pulled up over his head, he's not expecting any visitors immediately, so...

...ah, it's good to see buzen when he comes by, though. he tips his head up in greeting, briefly, the hand curled around something small in his lap settling. ]

[buzen is making his rounds - since it's the medbay specifically, he sort of expected it to be crowded. made especially clear as he heads in with some snacks and tea

when he sees vax he'll nod his head before going to sit next to him]

still, the effort is appreciated. at this point he also has a bag of chips so people just keep bringing him snacks, which is very nice? vax scooches over just a little to make room so buzen can sit, and huffs. ]

...think considering the circumstances, 'm alright. I can't say it's the first time I've seen something like that.
